What we do

CASC helped us secure an asset that we could turn into a new community centre - they secured the funding we needed and supported us to create a sustainable business plan - thank you for all of your support!

Dr. Tshikaya Kaleta, Manchester Congolese Organisation (MaCO)

CASC are our go-to for support with fundraising, business planning and any time we just need to bounce ideas off someone".

Otis Thomas, The African Pot

Without CASC our community garden project would have never happened - they helped us create plans, get funding and negotiate a lease with the council. We couldn't have done it without you!"

Project Highlight

Trawden Forest Community Centre

Trawden Forest Community Centre, based in Lancashire, is a community facility run and managed by volunteers. It provides a community hall for events and meetings, several smaller meeting rooms, a community shop, library, garden and an area where people can meet informally over a coffee.

The building was formerly used as a Surestart centre but was faced with closure in 2014 due to funding cuts. Steve Conway was recommended by Buttress Architects to pick up a case that had caused several previous consultants something of a headache. Click here for the story of how we solved it.
